reviews at 4.7★, more than four times the next name here, which makes it the most heavily tested address
on the list rather than a lucky small sample. Its own pitch is availability — “service continu 7j/7”, continuous
service seven days a week — and the practical consequence matters if you are planning a crawl: it is the only
one of these five that will feed you at lunchtime, running 12:00 to 3:30 PM and then 4:00 to 10:30 PM every day
of the week, including the Sundays and Mondays on which two of the others are shut. It sits on Rue Labeda, north
of the others and a few minutes’ walk from Place Wilson, and it takes group bookings and gift vouchers directly
through its own booking links, which is worth knowing before turning up with six people on a Saturday.
Café de la Bourse, Place de la Bourse
The highest-rated address here, tied with BOCA at 4.8★ on 1,118 reviews, and the one whose own website
we could not read: it resolves to a booking widget and nothing else, so rather than invent a house story we will
say only what the listing and the address actually support. Café de la Bourse sits at
number 24 on Place de la Bourse, one of the small enclosed squares tucked behind the Capitole where the tables
spill into the square rather than onto a road, and its hours are the widest on this list by a distance: from
10:30 in the morning through to midnight Tuesday to Thursday, to 1:00 AM on Friday, and 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM on
Saturday. That single span covers coffee, lunch, apéro and a late table without a break. The cost of that range
is the other end of the week — it is closed all day Sunday and all day Monday, the two days on which Bistroquet
is the safer bet.
The Four Monkeys, Rue de Metz
The outlier, and included deliberately. The Four Monkeys is a British pub, open

“l’effervescence à la barcelonaise” — Barcelona’s fizz, transplanted. Tapas arrive with what the house calls
generosity and good humour, the cocktails are mixed by staff it nicknames the Borriquettes, and the evening is
designed to end with a DJ, lights and customers singing on the tables; “c’est la folie, c’est dingo” is its own
summary. The name means much the same thing. That format explains the rating spread as much as anything else —
4.4★ from 3,308 reviews, the second-largest review base here and the lowest average, which is what
happens when a place commits hard to one kind of night rather than trying to please every table. Open 8:00 PM
to 2:00 AM, to 3:00 AM on Saturday, closed Sunday. It is the correct last stop, not the first.
